The EARLY Study aims to understand how personality develops during adolescence.

Study design
The EARLY Study aims to understand how personality develops during adolescence.
What will I do?
- Complete two online questionnaire sessions
- First session: shortly after registration
- Second session: three years later
(For example, if you start in 2025, you will be contacted again in 2028.)
How long does it take?
- Each session: about 45 minutes
- Total time: about 90 minutes over three years
What are the questions about?
- Your thoughts and behavior in everyday situations
- Questions about you and your experiences
Who can participate?
- Adolescents aged 11 years or older
- Parents will also be asked to complete questionnaires about you and themselves
- Your participation is independent of your parents’ — you can take part even if they do not
How does it work?
- Participate from home
- After registration, you will receive an email with a link to the online questionnaires
- Complete each session at a time that is convenient for you
Your choice
- Participation is voluntary
- You can withdraw at any time
- We aim to make this a positive and comfortable experience
